The Snapshot EFB solution is a disk based device which out performs tape based solutions as it is much faster to backup and recover from disk. Using a disk based solution also allows you store up to 32TB of data per 2u server rack. Our Snapshot EFB solution is built on the following principles:
The Snapshot EFB solution replicates your data to an internal hard drive within the device, once a successful backup job has completed the data is then synchronized to a hot swap removable caddy. This caddy is then housed in a shock proofed carry case and stored offsite in our data vault.
